In
this occasion, I would like to tell about Bintan Island. Some of you may know
or have heard about this island before, but some may be not. It is because this
island is not as popular as other island such as Bali, but Bintan Island is as
beautiful as it.
Let
us talk about where Bintan Island first. According to wikipedia, Bintan Island
or Negeri Segantang Lada is an island in the Riau archipelago of Indonesia.
This island is part of the Riau Islands province, the capital of which, Tanjung
Pinang, lies in the Island’s south and is the island’s main community. (source:

Bintan
Island, just like other islands, has many places that you can visit. It has
many beautiful places and views that you can not get enough of by visitting it
once.
Honestly,
I have never been to Bintan Island so I am writing this based on my friend’s
story and opinion who has been there before. Also, I will show us few pictures
of my friend visitting Bintan Island with her family.
he
first place she visited was Bukit Pasir.
It was formerlya bauxite mine, then the mining stopped and end up being one of
the tourism place in Bitan Island.

According to her, the
view in Bukit Pasir is so beautiful
even though the weather at that time was hot. We can walking around and even
take a picture in every spot there. When we take a look at the picture, it
slightly like she was in a dessert in Africa. By looking at the picture it
makes us want to visit the place too right?
The
second place was Danau Biru. This
place is actually not a tourism place, but an active sand mining area. The basin
from the mine is filled with water so it becomes a lake. (source: IDN TIMES)

According to her, the
lake is so blue and clear To get to this
lake she had to go down a very steep staircase. It is so beautiful that she
wants to stay there and took a lot of picture of it. The lake and its
surrounding is also clean that shows us how the people can keep the cleaness of
the lake.
The
last place she visited was Lagoi Bay Beach. This was the last place she visited
with her family.

She thinks that the
beach is so beatiful with the white sands and there is also a green field where
we can easily find the right spot to take a picture. They also provide an ATV
for tourist to strolling around the beach.
To conclude, The aim of
this writing is that to show everyone that Indonesia has a lot of beautiful
places that you can visit when you have free times. We still have more islands
that we have not discovered yet but is as beautiful as the other. Our island is
as beautiful as other popular island in this world. Why don’t you start
